Google has talked again and again about the importance of speed on the web.

Matt's comments is probably fair to assume that Google will indeed begin taking page speed into consideration as a ranking factor(2010).

#Is this a good news or bad for general bloggers?
#Will this create more jobs for web designer and developers?

For those wanting to increase their page speed check out Google Page speed

#Is this a good news or bad for general bloggers?
That depends. I'd say it's good news. I've always tried to keep my loading time down.

#Will this create more jobs for web designer and developers?
Probably, like every time Google does something.

I'm happy--my web page loads fast. I hope it will promote better coding--all those unencoded ampersands really get me hot under the collar.
