   ive had a bad back for 5 years since my last job, since then I have never taken a pain killer or anything else and just stick with physiotherapy twice a week. I tend to ignore the pain and preoccupy my self with something else

   Please be careful. I know so many people whose lives were completely ruined by addiction to pain pills when they started out with legitimate pain.

   Well I have Degenerative Bone diesese and Nerve damage and I'm 21... been going to the chiropractor, it's just to expensive I'm going to have to get on some type of good pain meds to help.

      My ex husband has exactly the same thing Brad(and I know how horrible the pain is) and became miserably addicted. Addiction to pain pills is right up there with heroin addiction. He used to take Lyrica, which I think helps with the degeneration. He also tried accupuncture with some success.

   I took Darvasit for neck and back pain (and I have chronic kind) also...weed helps if you live in NorCal you can get a prescription... or just..you know...buy some.. It helps as well.

   I believe crkian is correct, talk to your doctor. All the meds that you mentioned, I believe, have the same "base" in it that you seem to be allergic to.

   obviously you are alleric you need to go to the dr, suggest tylenol 3 with codine it's not a big time pain killer like the others but might give you some relief

   Just keep taking what to have been and get some ointment for the itching.
   or
   Soma is also good along with a muscle expansion pill to take the pressure off.
