So, if the album sells well you can sell your stock for a profit? Or is this a clever way to ask people to pay his production costs?

you get a small return from the album sales, and a free download of the album when its released, as well as the chance to buy limited editions and such, but it's good for an artist like patrick wolf who has a loyal fanbase, if like his previous album he released through a major label alot of people would illegally download his work, but with this it lets the artist have full power of the album plus gives the artist more of a return and also lets the fans be involved with the album, it's a good idea. It kind of makes the fans feel closer to the artist, which it does.

That's actually very interesting. I'll have to check out the site. Thanks!

I heard a song by Patrick Wolf yesterday and rather liked it, Don't Say No. Is that on the new album or his other one?

Don't say no is on one of his earlier albums Lyncrophy or Wind in the Wires, his last album was The Magic Position and his new album Is Battle
