I am sorry to hear that!
You are the person you need to love the most!

If you haven't read ASPOTOFBLOG'S blog (full on adult humor from a female's perspective) you ought to.

And lady - stop hating yourself... Start figuring out that life is amusing - and you're a part of that laughter.
  1. DealingBlog
I try not to hate. Life's too short.
  2. celticmusicfan
Yeah life is too short to hate someone even if that person did you wrong.or even if that music drove to murder fits.
  3. LolitaV
    in this order:

    Pedophiles
    Rapists
    Murderes.

    Anyone else is okay

hmm...hate...i can't say i truly hate anything but i very strongly dislike:

    skinheads
    idiots
emo kids (what's the point in being sad and cutting yourself?)
    ann(e) coulter (for obvious reasons)
nancy grace (because she won't shut the hell up to let people talk)

"emo kids (what's the point in being sad and cutting yourself?)"

People don't cut themselves for no reason, and psychological issues are often the cause. Cutting yourself is often an effort to try to feel something, and pain is better than nothing. Obviously, getting help would be the best thing, but to realize that you need help, or that you in fact can be helped is not always easy. And even if you look for it, help is not always easy to get, unfortunately. Being scorned for not being well doesn't help anyone.

  6. trailofpen
I hate bill collectors. Can't we all just forgive and forget?
    1. dbowles1017
I agree. So what if I owe 25000 in loans. That was sooo 2 years ago.
    2. trailofpen
      You too? LOL.
    3. dbowles1017

I'm just waiting for Obama to say "All students loans are forgiven" because I will be having a party that costs around that much.
    4. trailofpen
Hell, if Obama said school loans were forgiven, I'd go back so I could take out another 25 grand!
  7. Sam1982
@toby - I'm interested to hear why your classmate Ethan is so evil?
    1. dbowles1017
Because toby is like 10... Or maybe toby is really toby from the office. and Ethan is really Micheal Scott.
    2. Sam1982
You could be right there.....but now im wondering where beyonce fits into the equation
    3. dbowles1017
Well... Maybe Mi...Ethan. Brought her in for show and tell. And she sided with Ethan.
    4. Sam1982
If my memory serves me correctly Beyonce is Tobys mothers best friend
    5. dbowles1017
Hmm... Maybe Beyonce is just too bootylicious?
    6. Sam1982
Perhaps she's putting pressure on toby to put a ring on it?
    7. dbowles1017
      I don't know, maybe he isn't a survivor?
    8. LolitaV
      LOLZZZ!!!! U guys r a trip.
    9. Sam1982
Or perhaps she's just to much of a "Nasty Girl"
    10. dbowles1017
I think she may be a beautiful liar. Toby can't trust her.
    11. Sam1982
She just needs to think to herself "If I were a boy" .....then maybe she'll eventually see his Halo
    12. dbowles1017
Hopefully they will be Crazy In Love.
    13. Sam1982
He really is irreplaceable, so I'd hate to see her put all his boxes to the left to the left
    14. dbowles1017
I'm done googling Beyonce songs. So Listen Kitty Kat, don't make me Smash Into You.
    15. Sam1982
Yeah theres only so many that she's actually done - So baby boy you can go check on it and work it out
  8. Sylvia
It takes too much useless energy to hate anyone.

But I do hate it when my hubby leaves the toilet seat up!!
  9. AngieA
I can honestly say I do not hate anyone.
I think "hate" is a pretty strong word.
  10. Deray28
I don't hate a certain lab-mate but I truly, madly and deeply dislike than she doesn't shower every day. Note: I live in Tucson, AZ. Is pretty darn hot! If you walk 2+ blocks you are dripping sweat and yes, women that sweat also stink!

Then, I guess she thinks that is her cubicle that smells because, every other day or so, she sprays one of those very flowery body splashes (that should be on you not sprayed on the air) all over the place. We have open cubicles and the whole area then smells like sweat combined with flowers...yuk!
    1. Sam1982
Mmmmmm nothing beats that sweaty changing room smell mixed with the scent of cheap deoderant
  11. cooper
    hate takes so much energy.
  12. SufiSister
    hate ... no one
but i do dislike bush and his once adminstration
  13. boytrotters
'Tis better not to hate anyone if at all possible (which it sometimes isn't). Hate uses you up.
  14. jafabrit
I don't hate anyone really, but I do hate what some people do or believe (racism, bigotry, pedophiles, etc for example) and there are some people I come across in life I seriously dislike because they are nasty rude people.

I agree with Angie, hate is too strong a word, and it requires an investment of emotion that I just can't summon up. The only time I have felt seething hate was when my father was arrested and tried to blame me for the years of abuse he inflicted on me. Hate is not something I wish to invite in my life or hang onto. It is like a cancer that eats at your soul.
    1. SweetViolet
You took the words right outta my mouth!
  15. melindaville
I used to hate my father but I no longer do because (I believe) if you spend your energy hating anything then it detracts too much from the wonder and beauty of life. I figured if I kept on hating my father with so much intensity then he steals even more from me.

Rather than hate him, I now just don't give a f**k.
    1. SweetViolet
I was much the same way about my mother.
    2. melindaville
It's freeing when you finally let it go, isn't it?

My mother was too busy, politically, when I was growing up, to notice what was going on--but she was always sweet to me. Today, my mom and I are actually good friends but it took a long time for us to reach that point.

My father is dead now--which is fine with me.
    3. jafabrit
I so agree with you melinda, letting go of that hate is very very freeing.
    4. SweetViolet
My mother is also dead now. The emotion I recall feeling upon being informed of her death was one of great relief. It was then that I finally felt I was truly free.

I had stopped hating her years before, but she was so volatile, mercurial and unpredictable, I couldn't feel safe until she was gone.
    5. melindaville
Wow, SV--I'm sorry you had that experience with your mom. Although even though you had a rough beginning, you've done so well for yourself and it seems as though you have found true love and happiness today--and I am happy for you.
    6. SweetViolet
Well, I took five years to concentrate on therapy. It turned my life around.

I think "hatred" comes from a feeling of powerlessness...and I no longer feel powerless.
    7. melindaville
That's about the length of time I went through therapy--and I totally agree with you on the powerlessness. Absolutely.
