Pet Peeves?

Everyone has a pet peeve, maybe several. I have one that comes up every single day on my way to...well... just about anywhere. It's people who pass on the right.
Invariably I need to make a left turn, the 1st car in oncoming traffic needs to do the same thing and you've got (insert profane word(s) here) who pass on the right trying to kill both people who are trying to turn left legally.
But today was a godsend. I was in a line of 4 cars, me being the fourth one, and we started to slow down, with the 2nd car signaling a left turn. This obviously bothered the 3rd driver in line who cut to the right, to pass the 2nd car who was turning left. But lo and behold the 1st car of the caravan was also making a turn themselves. Unfortunately they were turning right though, and the 3rd car ran right into them as they were turning.
And the best part? The 1st car was a police car. Now maybe they'll start enforcing the law a little closer now for those right passing (insert another profane word here) in the future.
But I sure chuckled when this happened.

This is why i don't drive, things like this confuse me!
I got a lift home off my college chum last week and informed them to take the next left.
She replied 'Into the cemetery?'
I replied 'The other left'.
I felt foolish

Not a pet peeve but there is one mystery of the road that all my pondering has not solved. Perhaps you can help. Why is it that some people believe that other drivers or pedestrians cannot see through their car windows to observe them as they pick their noses? Hey nose pickers! We can see you!
