Pet Peeves.....Got any?

I will start.
My biggest "pet peeve" is being late. I HATE it. Nothing irritates me more than someone who is constantly late. My dad instilled in me from a young age, "it's better to be an hour early than one minute late."
I once told him, "better late than never". His reply was, "never late is better."

My pet peeve actually involves pets...I hate when people let their dogs use my front lawn as their potty, especially those who don't pick up after them.
BTW, G8rbryan, I would probably not be one of your favorite people. My whole life seems to be running 10 minutes behind. :-) -
I'm not allowed pets by court order, not after the incident with the German shepard, the jam and the vacuum cleaner.

spelling "a lot" as "alot"
"I could care less"
"ect." instead of "etc."
people who chew gum (and food) with their mouths open
smokers who blow their smoke right at me
hats with flat rims
popped collars
cars that say the make/model name across the windshield -

Stupid people.
And I don't mean ignorant. I mean people who are purposely ignorant, who have no natural curiosity or desire to learn.
They're also usually afraid to travel.
Loud people.
Those people above, also tend to be just that.
Hmm, I think that's it. -
Use of the non-existent word "conversate" in ANY context. From where did it come? Normally, not prone to violence, I would like to hunt the person down who first started using this..., this..., this...oh, words escape me! - Nards

arg, I just saw that it is listed in some dictionaries (as slang). I suppose like a lot of slang it will wither away into obscurity in some dusty dictionary of slang.
the only pet peeve I can this minute think of (if you can call it that) is when I see thread after thread after thread about threads and what people should or shouldn't say or rules, etc. Then again in order to avoid feeling peeved I just SKIP them and move on.

wait, yes, I do have a pet peeve. People who don't read the instructions and I have to keep explaining that the painting for the gallery HAS to fit the parameters set for the space, 23" x 36" x 3/4". I seem to have this one person who has twice now brought her work and they are either the wrong size or wrong dimension! Aaaaaaaaaarg!
