Playstation 3, slim, trim and cheaper. More attractive now?

Anyone who held off buying a PS3 based on pricing may have less of an excuse with release of the slimmer Sony product.
But is this enough to push you over the line and finally grab the black box? Or are other factors at play for you (i.e. game quality, online experience, friends with the console etc...).

Well, PS3 slim is a machine! As Xbox360 too, the biggest diference was price, now I belive people will buy PS3 Slim, since she's more cheaper, and it has a bigger HD(120Gb) also it's a Blue Ray driver, a blue Ray reader costs 2 times more! With PS3 you get, a BR reader, a multimedia platform(music, videos and other stuff), A internet Browser(he's more faster than IE LOL) and also a gaming system, how perfect could it be??-
haha very perfect!! Lots of friends have the Xbox, but I always turn to the PS.
But have to say I held of buying PS3 for quite some time now.I always spend my money on other things hehe. Either way, it's high on my list again! The fact that is as a Blue Ray driver is very important. Also factors like game quality, game availability play a big role! Some games are only available on other consoles. -
and you got the free online play xD In Xbox you have to pay it--' kinda sucks no?

Yeah, the fact that it has a Blu Ray player is quite attractive. Is there a keyboard plugin for the controller or PS3 to interact with the Internet browser?

Sony PS3 was a disaster in sales xD LOL They need to get some cool functions to atract customers xD Althought, XBOX360 is older than PS3, has worst hardware, but guess what? It's cheaper xD LOL And you get High Def grafics!

Yeah that's true! The sales didn't go as planned. not at all! I guess people were disappointed in what they got when PS3 finally came out. And a few games, I believe Soul Calibur 4 were released only for the Xbox? Also an edition of Final Fantasy was only released on Xbox right? I'm not so sure...
And yeah the graphics from XboxX360 were definitely awesome! -
Final Fantasy isn't out yet! only on 2010, but there will be an xbox 360 version xD
And yes, I think Soul Calibur 4 only was realeased to Xbox360

haha! FF series are really cool! Do you have a fave? Most people like FFVII, because of the storyline and characters. For me every FF has their cool parts!
Only I wasn't a big fan of FFX-2, but perhaps this was because Yuna was the main character and I was used to Tidus haha -
I love FFX xD FFX-2 was weird :S like, The characters and the game was really bad, FFX was ten times better!
I really never liked FFVIII, still, they are making a reedition for PS3 ! -
Yeah. FFX-2 was definitely strange! FFVIII was the first one I played. They are making a re-edition! What are they adding? Is it remastered?

Xbox 360 is cheaper xD Xbox Elite is now at 259€ and Pro Edition at 229€ xD this will make things very interesting!

One of these days I'll get a Playstation 3. Even with the price drop, I still don't know when to get it. I currently am looking for a job; when I do earn enough maybe I'll save for the PS3. Maybe sometime next year, hopefully I'm looking forward to FF Versus XIII and I'm thinking about FFXIII...
That's great though that the price is down to $299 and the design is slim (and the GB capacity doubled!). It increases the chances of many more gamers saving up for this console.
By the way, my favorite FF is FFVII. Cloud Strife is my #1 favorite FF character, and Vincent Valentine is my second favorite
Okay I admit I am a HUGE Final Fantasy fan too!!
