I've been on A Small Orange for a good 2 years now and I am loving their customer service and afford-ability.

I'm on the Tiny plan that gives me 75MB space, 3GB bandwidth, PHP, Unlimited MySQL, Unlimited E-mails all for $25/year.
    Domain Registration is another $10/year

    Try Frugal Host (frugalhost.duoservers.com).

    $3/ month
$3.5/ month with free domain registration

Must be paid yearly, but at these prices, it's still a deal.

If you need/want, you can add additional features.

I personally use Godaddy but Hostgator is another good one.
You can find lots of reviews on my blog

I like 1datahosting. You pay for a 2 year plan, but you get 500MB storage, 2GB/mo bandwith, and some good tools for a basic account.

I can never say enough good things about hostforweb.com. I've been using them for nearly a decade, and they excel at the two single most important things in a host. 1. there just aren't any problems with the service. 2. If you need technical support, their NOC staff is the best I've ever worked with.

I've got to say, I've tried Startlogic.com a while ago
and they sucked for customer service and failed to host my website
a few times. I got feed up with them and moved on.

I got my URL on godaddy and I use lunarpages for hosting. So far they've been only OK; the site was down several days toward the beginning because someone messed up a security patch on their end, so that was kind of annoying.

Currently using Servage.net. Apparently had a few bad moments in the past but in the years I've been using it it's been a great web host. Check info on my website:
