"A Polish Catholic priest has published a book which provides married couples with a theological and practical guide to spicing up their sex lives."

Because that's definitely who you want tips from...

    This is my favourite bit:

"He also dismisses those that have questioned the competency of a celibate monk to write about sex, saying his experience comes from counselling married couples and from running a website giving sexual advice for almost a year. "

He should never, ever visit my blog then.

I want to know why he thought he was qualified to start giving advice on sex in the first place! I wonder what his early advice was like!

Probably along the same lines as the freaky "how often do you kiss" thread from earlier.

Hahaha! I'd rather get tips for my sex life from Dr Phil. (not that I need any tips or anything)

this sounds like the beginning of a great joke...how many polish priests does it take to write a sex guide?

Unbelievable! And given the sex scandals of presumably celibate individuals priests who sexually assaulted hundreds children over the course of decades, while being hidden by their church from the long of arm of law - IMO it's a @#$$%^@! outrage.

"But Father Knotz stresses the book does not differ from the Church's view on sex. He discourages the use of contraceptives ..."

Oh great, let's all give a big cheer for those who breed indiscriminately like rabbits until menopause intervenes. They are insuring those pews and donations plates will be filled by future generations so the paternalistic organizational structure won't fail and fall.
    [she rolls her eyes]
