I read an article in Body and Soul Magazine, “Beyond Happy”, on how having a more positive outlook can improve so much in your life. According to the article, research has revealed that “those who experience more positive emotions cope with stress better, find creative solutions to problems, enjoy better health and relationships, and even negotiate more effectively.” The article suggested to start a journal to record five things for which you are grateful each day.

I have my personal daily journal, but each Wednesday I’m also going to post that daily thankful list on the blog. I invite you to come and share your five things each Wednesday - bestofbothworldsathome.com

1. Hurricane Bill seems to be heading on a track that will take it away from Florida.

2. Training session for new work at home opportunity I’ve been offered went well this morning.

3. Homeschool curriculum I ordered for my son arrived today. We are now all set for the new school year.

4. Thankful that I have the afternoon and evening free of work today so I can spend time with my kids.

5. My beautiful golden retriever who just laid his head on my lap and looked up at me with his beautiful brown eyes.
