just post maybe one of your really short poems.. just a little taste of what your poetry is like, so people can see if they want to read more or not
it can be a paragraph of a poem, or a small poetic phrase you've made up to live by.

I run through the busy street, to follow your scent.
The one that fills me with a soft buzzing that weighs down my head.
Your oblivious nature leaves me in your peripheral, where I always stay.
Please wake up and realize, don't leave me this way.

It is here, at the moment of crisis,
that fantasy comes to his releif.
    ---------------------------------
    We are
    who we are
    when we are
    what we are
    with our masks on.
    ----------------------
He imagines his true self sexy and debonair - a Fred staire
ignoring gravity, gracefully tipping his hat and magically
tapping his cane the moment he glides onto the dance floor.
    -----------------------
Then again, he wearies of dreams of transcendent flesh,
and tip-toes back, seeing himself at peace with the
world of desire and and fancies himself a transcendent,
a natural naturalist of acceptance as it were.
    ----------------------
Other times he retires into the fantasy of being master
of his craft, his art, and subservient to none.
    ----------------
Mostly he is content with the role he has always
courted, the cynical outsider tempered with humor ,
a casual observer of a complex intent world.
    -------------------------

I don't write poetry persay. I write aphorisms, which I sometimes call thought-poems. A kind of Western haiku. Here's one:

All summer the leaves hung together. Now they're falling one by one.

There once was a man from Nantucket
Who had a match in his hand and struck it
The flames jumped about in a rage
Like a tiger roaring in its cage
So he put it out with water from a bucket

I just made that up right now.

    //Holy madness//

The first is not the worst
and the last is not the best,
but the first is not the best
and the last is not the worst,
    'cos I'm all mad,
    I'm out of my mind,
and if you think it's fine
    you have to be blind,
    blind of joy.

Stars fall down when I think of you..
I still remember your words as you said goodnight
    I still remember your dreams
you said you'd never leave and I said I'd never go
    I wonder what went wrong
now the sky is drowning me
now the silence is so loud..as I wait here
    wonder where it went wrong
as rain drops turn to bullets
falling down on me,tumbling down with stars
but I'm the only one dying when I think of you

You made me count your robotic stars
And made me dream on the baby's dummy
All the UFO's are corrupted human machines

    How "bout this:

    I look at the floor
    That is near door
    Something that is there
Which is not suppose to be there
    I went to that something
But then I begin to think
Who cares whether it is there
When no one knows it is there
    So I left it there
    And don't give a care.

    Guess what is that thing?

Answer:- I don't know. I just made it up. It can be anything, must be without odour. Happy blogging.

    Gotham City Circus

The nights are darker and the lights are brighter
As if the world was lit by a purple Bic lighter
Customers and merchants gather in the square
While dreadlocked men puffed smoke into the air
Gray clouds form above Gotham City
Dulling all that is colorful, nice and pretty
A scream echoes in the dark, deep into the abyss
Six shots were fired, but three of them missed
The city is transformed into a solemn little circus
Frowning clowns out on the town trying to find a purpose
I hear music. It appears that the marching band is here
Pumping rhythm into an addict's heart while the doctor yells "Clear"
All the while the acrobats gracefully glided off the roof
Heaven was their safety net, so they jumped towards the truth
The magician took some magic powder and mixed it in a pot
Out came rocks and gems, luminous and hot
A juggler tried desparately to juggle all his problems
But all the balls fell when a man shot and robbed him
The circus is running well like a well-oiled machine
This is reality pretending to be a nightmare pretending to be a dream

    A much lighter "poem" (trash):

    Blade Runner Love (version 6.0)

I love my android chick. She's perfect even with the glitches

She tells me that she loves me when I flip the switches

She's got more heart than these human bitches

I don't need anyone else, so I'm burning bridges

Making love in the pod while taking pictures

I'm mad about you like a hundred Hitlers

    Construction
    (by Ariadna Garibaldi)

    "I built this edifice
    brick by brick,

The framework made of irrefutable arguments,
    the walls of ideas,

    Filled, overflowing with poetry
    but not without direction,

And in the juxtaposition of the sounds and harmonies
    I synthesized love."

(Translated to English by Neal Mulvenna)

This is my favorite of the poems I've posted on my blog:

    One day

    The words will explode

    Like fireworks from my mouth

    Crackling, vivid

    Against the formerly silent sky
