I went through some intense last couple of days in regards to my pregnancy.. Has anyone had problems during their pregnancy and if so how did you deal with it? I wrote a blog post about it and feel free to read it if you want... but still.. I would like to start a discussion about it.

When I was 7.5 months pregnant, my daughter stopped moving entirely. I tried everything I could think of to wake her up and she didn't move for...well, I can't remember how long it was, but certainly long enough to send everyone into a panic. I went to the emergency room and they hooked me up to the monitor and I almost collapsed with relief when her heart rate popped up on the monitor. They insisted on doing all kinds of other tests and monitoring ME for a while, but I couldn't have cared less--as soon as I saw her heart beating I was ready to go home. There have been very few moments in my life as terrifying (and they all have to do with my daughter, now that I think about it). I hate to tell you, Gypsy, but it gets even scarier when they can go out and wander around. I heard someone once refer to having a child as having your heart outside your body walking around in the world. I think that's pretty accurate.

Thank you for telling me that. When I heard the baby's heartbeat.. I knew the baby was okay too but until then it was maddening. and they sure do like to test you but I am glad that the doctors are cautious

I too have heard of that.. (that children are your heart walking outside) and think this would be definitely true!

It is horrible to have difficulties during pregnancy. Or worse.

I lost my girl at 5 months. She was between my middle son and my youngest. Guess the good Lord figured I would be better off raising boys.

Was terrible I fell apart for weeks

I wish you well and all the best for yours.

I think its a case of letting go and letting God as they say....and letting those that surround you and care about you do just that care and support you.....the one thing that is important before and after a birth is nurturing yourself and taking care of your needs living a happy and full life is the greatest gift you will give you child

Every pregnancy will be different, usually completely different. I had a 10-pound baby (nearly two feet long to boot) and that one was easy. I had a 2-pound baby (via c-section at 27 weeks) and that was enough to give me a few grays.

Put your health first and listen to what your body is telling you and you'll be just fine. Best of luck and all good thoughts coming your way.
