Hey, we all love to promote our own blog posts. How about promoting someone else's ? This thread is like a tag game.
The previous reader will choose an outstanding blog post by someone and link to it. (S)he will also provide a short description.
The next reader will promote an outstanding blog post by the previous reader, and promote ANOTHER blog post by ANOTHER reader. So the conversation can continue.Of course short descriptions will have to be included to get an idea.
Please please promote blog posts by ONLY blogcatalog members, or else the thread will be discontinud for lack of participants!
Okay, looks like it is my turn!
I want to promote a blog post about an amazing web tool that lets you cut portions of a webpage, save it as an image and paste the automatically generated image code in your blog/Flickr/Tumblr!
here is the blog post url
tools.visionmind.net/kwout-quote-a-website/
Now you have to promote a blog post by me and someone else!

It was my first time to discover (and its only from Sanji's blog) how to make tags useful in promoting your blog in 5 different ways! very simple and easy to do stuff... interesting!
Now you have to promote a blog post by me:

I liked Windowonmyface's entry: baikong.wordpress.com/2008/04/13/condom-experience-republican-or-democrat/
It's a great read because it shows how HIV awareness can be propagated in an effective and pervasive yet almost fun manner. It's a very serious topic but by making condoms ubiquitous, it also serves a very important health and safety function.
Another blog entry I like from another BC member is blog.itsallaboutabandonment.com/2008/01/15/what-you-can-do.aspx
I like how he catalogs the abandonment responses of differing animals and reminds us that we have biological responses to abandonment as well. As much as we try to suppress these responses. Very informative.
One of the blogs I assist friends with is yourdreampool.blogspot.com -

This is a post I enjoyed from Laurs's Blog. I did because it is a dream that many of us have in a variety of different ways. I thik if you read this post - you can see some of your own nocturnal sub conscious thoughts rise to the top. I think we can translate some of our dreams into this explanation. Now it is time for us to train the sub conscious mind to think positive thoughts and get those negative ones out of there.
Another favorite is this: www.idiotsguidetoblogging.com/2008/04/bloggingsuccess.html
It is not exactly what your expecting - but it should be. Straight forward and to the point - a must read as well!
OK -- I am next I guess

Enjoy the reading - I enjoyed the writing
Ben-
I'm going to choose
ya-ttitude.com/blog/2008/04/02/ya-ttitude-give-and-take/
A post that speaks to me as a consultant because it brings back the basics in both customer relations as well as simple ethical behavior.
Treat others as you want to be treated is the key concept that echoes through this post. Something that far too many businesses have seem to selectively forgotten.
I also have to mention ya-ttitude.com/blog/2008/04/17/ya-ttitude-curing-abulia-you-decide/
A distinctly Anthony Robbins-esque approach to success, Clear and concise tips on how to get better at succeeding and dealing with faliure.
Great Blog all in all, Im glad this post made me find it. RSS'ed immediately.

From now on I will never leave home naked (ie, minus my business card!)
I have already had one of my posts promoted, so I am not putting my own blog again.
Here is a blog I really liked, care to promote something?
