I am running a Halloween Costume Contest: Haunting in Heels on my site.
It is for women and the costume must include a high heels (since I write about them).
The prizes are three gift certificates to Heels.com for $100, $75, $50.
I am wondering how can I best promote my contest to have lots of participation.

That's a good one... very topical to your subject, and really giving something of value. I'll enter!! Lots of my costumes included heels, even they are trekkie or otherwise geeky, LOL...
but hey, you should open this up to men, too.
