Pros and cons of having a contact form?

I've thought about adding a contact form to my blog, but I'm not sure if it's necessary, and, of course, I don't want to be spammed. If you have one on your blog, what have you found to be the negatives and/or positives of having one?

I get spammed a bit, but also I get some nice offers of work relationships

I need to embed a subject so I know where the mail comes in from though, here is an example

Never get spam so far. The good site was, there's some people send me a message to ask for help about their blog, offer link exchange and etc. Never had bad experience

yes I cannot see any minus points having a contact form. Thats will be a better option than having a contact page with your emails or phone number.

You can expect bit of spam but that can be handle.
