I hope to actually do some research in that field. I've talked to people who've experienced "outter body" episodes but I've yet to come across anyone claiming to have experienced "near death". I would love to talk to someone on the topic. I find it facinating! Do you know anyone who has experienced it?
I may have encountered it myself when I began to hemorage due to child birth. I remember people running into the room and the sound fading away. I really thought that I was dying. I was not afraid at all. It was as if I was happy with my current state. They kept talking to me but I didn't care to fight to stay awake. I closed my eyes and woke up a few hours later, not even relieved that I made it. It was back to business as usual. No bright lights, no voices, nor sights..... just a peaceful existence. I was not medicated, and this is highly unusal do to the complications that I experienced which were very painful prior to the hemeraging.

I think it's bunk. You might be able to get the placebo effect to kick in, but nothing more than that.
When people opt for "spiritual healing" instead of medicine, they're killing themselves.-
I had read some where that even in US reiki has been accepted as an alternate therapy and been practiced in more than 800 hospitals .

So? There's no science behind it. Does it work? Why does it work? How does it work? When someone explains those in detail and I can verify it through clinical trials, then it should be practiced. Until then, no.
Shame on those hospitals.

Psychotherapy and spiritual healing are not the same thing.-
They are two seperate things but I have seen them work together to heal.

It's simply a fact. My daughter got stung by several wasps last weekend, had an allergic reaction, and we had to rush her to the ER. She's okay, but anything could've happened. That's what I mean.

So ture.. a friend of ours dropped dead last week. I just went to the funeral and we just couldn't believe that someone could be talking to you one moment go to sleep and never wake up. He wasn't even sick. He just died of natural causes. Each day cells die off and we are that much closer to death.
How is your little one today? I'm so sorry that happen to her.
