D&D-ish question!

A genie appears and says she will increase either your pulchritude, your attitude (and in turn, your charisma), your fortitude, or your wealth.

Which do you choose, and why?

Also, no link-drops.

EDIT: Added fortitude to the choices.

I'd take an increase wealth because I already have the other three in abundance.
    1. timethief
I'm in the mood to have some fun. How about you?
  2. lordiwanttobewhole
my wealth....I feel I've gone through enough 'trials' and 'growth' for a long time. My attitude feels right at this point in my life.
My pulchritude isn't really important to me at this stage.

So wealth, make me rich & I promise I'll use it for a good purpose!

      Great minds
  3. hatingtherain
    what is pulchritude?
    1. voodooKobra
Man, doesn't anyone know how to use Google anymore?

      dictionary.reference.com/browse/pulchritude
    2. Anok
      It means beauty
    3. chicky401
I google everything!! Hey wait a minute didn't you say no link drops? Hahaha.
    4. hatingtherain
      what is google?
  4. pinkmimosa
    show me the money!
  5. Anok
    Hmmmm. None of the above?

I am pretty enough for me, I have more than enough attitude, my fortitude is overwhelming, and my wealth? Well, I'm wealthy enough in non material ways, and I kinda like that.
    1. voodooKobra
Yeah, but material wealth that spontaneously appears out of nowhere via a genie's magic would certainly make life easier.
    2. Anok
Well, OK...maybe you have a point
  6. 7masterheathen
@hatingtherain: googling is what you're doing if you stare at somebody like a freaky deak for too long a time. Like I do when I see Jessica Biel in a movie. I'm admiring her.... eyes.
    1. hatingtherain
      that's exactly what I thought!
  7. roadgurl5
Wealth. My attitude is good, I'm not concerned with pulchritude and I have sufficient fortitude...I think. :o)
  8. Phoenix1962
    Wealth, because money is power!
  9. SwedishSkier
Any other day I'd probably say money since I feel ok about the other areas, but I went to an all day training on Identifying Meth Labs. This was after 4 days of child welfare training. I'd take fortitude about now. I tried booze, but now I just want actual fortitude.
  10. LynneaUrania
My attitude. Because in the increase of that, I become more beautiful in other minds. I become wealthier because my opportunities are expanded. My fortitude, because real strength comes from the assurance learned from within.

And no genie from a bottle can do more than the genie in the heart.
  11. SweetViolet
Wealth because I don't have enough for all the charitable works I'd like to support.
  12. SiuilARuin
I'm going to go with the grain here and say wealth...for women (especially those with intellectual aspirations) beauty can often be a curse rather than a blessing, my attitude could possibly do with some improvement but it'll do, and I'm pretty sturdy, well...have to be with my life! Money is really the only thing I need and can't easily achieve...

    So, where's this genie?
  13. DaneMorgan
Wealth. Puchritude sounds painful, and with enough wealth I can hire other people to have the others for me.
  14. Arcticulates
I am thinking maybe fortitude for me... pulchritude is as pulchritude does... I have enough money to get the bills paid, so that's okay with me, and I have very few stinky attitude days.
But I have been overstressed with other family members medical stuff, and am feeling a little peaked, tired, and emotional... so a need for fortitude wins hands down for me.
  15. Friday13
I could use a little money-tude to pay for a college-tude and have a career-tude ... but, then again, it's a scary world out there. I guess I'll need some fortitude so I don't break under all the pressure from it. Or, wait, would that be attitude? No, wait, make it ... oh, forget it!
  16. flamingpoodle
Attitude (and in turn, my charisma). That's how you become a populist ruler and gain wealth, fortitude and well, not really pulchritude. But if you have enough wealth you don't need to be hot.
  17. CrisRo
Well, seeing as I'm a nerdy caster class with levels in blogger, I'm gonna need fortitude. Then again the extra charisma from attitude may give me additional spells per day.

Does the extra charisma only count for saves and skills?

    I ARE GEEK!!
    1. voodooKobra
The charisma isn't a conditional modifier. It's a straight up +2 to CHA.
    2. CrisRo
Ewww...toughy.... I'll go with charisma bonus from attitude though, since being a blogger charisma is the most important attribute. Plus, being Sor5/Blog1 I'll get me some extra spells.
    3. Anok
Oh dear lord, do you have your character costume to go with that geekery?

    4. CrisRo
Nah, I'm the tabletop sort of geek. Not the dress up sort of geek.
  18. josephgelb
WEALTH TO GET THE BETTAR CHARIZETERS
  19. legbamel
I'd say wealth, because then I could buy pulchritude, if I wanted it. I could pay for a gym membership and fresh, organic foods to build up my fortitude. Not having to work and being healthier would certainly improve my attitude. I'd also have more time to work on blogging and promotion, thus revealing why I don't need any more charisma. And I could give more time and money to worthy causes, which would improve my...karmatude.
  20. ThriftShopRomantic
Attitude. I'm much more inclined to help improve things for myself when I'm in a good mood.
    1. Anok
It's funny - because I automatically equate "attitude" with something other than a good mood.

Like - being fresh, having loads of chutzpah - that sort of thing.

So now I have a mental image of you storming into a room with your hands on your hips and very flamboyantly proclaiming that every needs to get to work or else!
    2. ThriftShopRomantic
      Yeah, that's SO me...

      Not.

Kobra had mentioned charisma, so I was taking attitude as being more of a can-do upbeat thing, rather than me as Uber-Diva.
    3. Anok
I know, that's why it's so funny! Heh....

      I kinda like it though....
    4. ThriftShopRomantic
I think I'll stick to even-keelness and quiet sarcasm.
  21. jafabrit
I would like wealth so I can do some things for others that extends beyond what I am able to do now. Plus the wealth might help with the pulchritude a wee bit (only so much one can do to stop looking like one has been dragged through a bush backwards as one ages).
  22. xmarks
I'm an old geek. D&D has gotten so complex.

I'm guessing fortitude is new D&D speak for constitution, i.e. health. I'll take the health. If I'm healthy enough, everything is possible for me to earn through my own efforts.
    1. voodooKobra
I just wanted a lot of -tude words in the title.

The choices are Constitution, Appearance (Skill bonuses), Attitude (CHA), or wealth (GP and lots of it).
  23. aningeniousname
I don't want any of those I want my "pink staff of justice" lengthened to stop locker room sniggering.
    1. legbamel
Aw, your snout is fine just the way it is.
  24. morgantj
I would choose fortitude. One needs strength of mind to get up and do anything really. This would also give one the courage needed to search out truth in the midst of grand delusion. Fortitude also has the potential to increase ones wealth, pulchritude, and attitude.
  25. faithsju243
Hey Voodoo...am I allowed a combo and can my genie be Vince Vaugh-just because I think it would be kinda funny to see his ginormous self pop out of a little bottle. Anyway back to my original question...can I get a atti/forti mix which would increase my natural east coaster charm and give me the courage to finally pursue my writing as more than a hobby?
    1. voodooKobra
This is a question about prioritization. What's most important to you?
    2. faithsju243
@Voodoo, somehow I knew you were going to say that....I guess I will go with fortitude because one day I would like to see my writing in print and not in something I pulled hot off my personal printer.
    3. voodooKobra
      Heh. Very good.
