I'm not surprised if a python gets that big.
Ancient Egyptian myths spoke of a huge python swallowing the Sun.
Apophis (a serpent) was a great enemy of the Sun God Ra.
However, I wonder what happened to that student, if he was suffocated first by the python
and then swallowed?
Or what the heck happened before he got swallowed by the python, if that story is true?-

Yeah I know, it just sounds horrible but that's how I can come to some reasonable conclusion
as to what happened to him, maybe he was camping in a sleeping bag,
how come he didn't fight, was there a struggle, was he sleeping when it happened, that might explain why he couldn't fight fast enough and he got slowly strangled and suffocated by the python and then slowly swallowed. YIKES THAT IS A HORRIBLE WAY TO GO. -
My guess is that Jon Voight had something to do with this. You can't trust him when snakes are around.

In all seriousness - that has to be about the worst way to go. Strangled and slowly digested in a snake's stomach. Only thing worse would be being eaten by giant mutant-spiders (and nobody post that darned "clock spider" - I mean it!!!).

I never did like snakes...those clowns look pretty snakey too.
