Has anyone tested the SEO potential of Blog Surfer feature in the Dashboard at Wordpress yet?

- No, I haven't. I simply subscribe to the feed of the wordpress. com blog I want to read. I also subscribe to some tags so I get the posts that are found on the global tag pages that have those tags.
What SEO suggestions do you have that you can share on using the blogsurfer? -
Cute picture for your post! Seriously I have not used this feature. I am always wondering if I should be doing extra stuff for SEO improvement. But have been told not to worry about SEO and just write and post good content to keep up my good search results in Google for my niche. I would like to hear more about blogsurfer too.

I don't think writing good content is enough. Timethief has some great stuff as you would probably realize. My SEO stuff is always weird science. My assumption was that no-one had considered Blog Surf as an SEO possibility but I was just curious.
My blogs have had over 350,000 visitors and it's not from good content alone, I'll guarantee that.

I'm using Wordpress 2.8 on a self-hosted site and I don't see any feature called "Blog Surfer". Is this for wordpress.com bloggers only?

@JP
- Yes. It's an internal wordpress. com feature that only we wordpress .com bloggers can use to follow ie. subscribe to other wordpress. com blogs, and to subscribe to tags assigned to posts in the wordpress .com global tagging system.

IMHO based on observation most bloggers do not know how to apply basic SEO to their posts and blog structure, and haven't a clue about how to use tags effectively.
