Who are you calling a tart?! huh? huh?!
    1. cookingasshole
must be another Brit saying...what do you think it means?
    2. cookingasshole
      so you are a tart?
    3. Epicharis
      *headdesk*

      nevermind...
    4. cookingasshole
      you like tarts?
    5. Sam1982
I don't mind tarts, regardless of the meaning. A tart with custard and cream is even better.

"A tart with custard and cream is even better."

Love tarts but I like to juice them into a frappe and make some homemade ice cream
or add some protein to it and make a nice little protein shake.
    1. cookingasshole
      that sounds good!
    2. Sam1982
I'm gonna laugh very immaturely at that comment hehehehe
    3. Jeunelle
I don't mind if you laugh, it does sound rather funny

My daughter's been bringing a lot of blackberries in we have growing around my place. I guess I ought to make a blackberry cobbler.
    1. cookingasshole
I have a recipe for that too! Also I did a blackberry compote recipe for the blog catalog blog

Are raspberries really freakin expensive in the US? It would cost a small fortune to make a pie out of them with the price that they sell here.
    1. cookingasshole
      I bought 36oz for like $7
    2. funispower
a pie! who do you think we are, the Kennedies?
    3. cookingasshole
the kennedy's have got nothing on me...

how much are they over there for a pint?
  8. funispower
dunno about raspberries, but strawberries are like $2-$3 a pint
    1. cookingasshole
      where are you located?
    2. Sam1982
Strawberries here, you can pick as many as you want for around 60cents US.
    3. funispower
oregon:) maybe they'll be cheaper now that season is here.
    4. cookingasshole
      me too! go to costco
  9. Sam1982
Thats pretty good a 2oz punnet costs around $3USD here
    1. cookingasshole
yeah I got a crapload of them at Costco which is a wholesale food place. Otherwise it would have cost me $8 for 12oz
  10. Agit8r
This thread brought to you by Costco Wholesale...
    1. cookingasshole
      love that place...
    2. Agit8r
ever just walk laps of the store, eating samples?
    3. cookingasshole
I hate the sample ladies...they freak me out
    4. Agit8r
they may be cluless enough to let you through a few times. If they start to get suspicious, just flash them a wink and a smile
    5. cookingasshole
they are just always the weirdest people and I want nothing to do with them so I just go without the samples
    6. Agit8r
well you could probably do without them anyway... oops, some judgementalness rubbed off on me from somewhere...
    7. cookingasshole
you know those people are weirdos!
    8. Agit8r
how else would they deal with all those people all day long pushing their cart with 50 pound packages of feta cheese

No really someone mentioned blackberry cobbler(mouth watering) which is yummy but, my fav is peach cobler with home-made vanilla icecream! (The housewife can't wait till the 4th) anyway I like my cobler with more of a dumpling rather than pastery.........I'm sooooo goin insane!
