   I was actually offered a chance to participate in a reality show through my blog. They were looking for psychologists to counsel teenage addicts. I considered this carefully--as it would have been great publicity for my cause (The Melindaville Foundation, which seeks to treat hopelessly addicted addicts and even provide financial support for school or job training) but I decided against it, feeling it might be exploitative.
   
   So my answer is no.

   No. I don't really care for reality programs. I more enjoy creative series' that have a plot arc to them and a bit of suspense.
   
   Plus, reality programs tend to get some pretty over-the-top folks on them looking for their 15 minutes of fame.
   
   I don't fit the demographic.

   I have never understood what it is in people that makes them think that they are so fascinating that people want to tune in their televisions every week to watch them doing absolutely nothing but being themselves. Oh! Vanity! That's right...
   
   I miss actual quality scripted TV.
