If we could live in a totally manufactured world, where there is no death, greed, imbalence, hatred, broken hearts, garbage etc...versus the world we live in where it seems there is nothing beyond the realm of possibility both positively or negetively...would you choose to live in the manufactured world?

What about ignorance is so blissful? What about complete awareness is so fulfilling?

I would like to say yes, I would love that. But I'm not so sure. I think some conflict is nesessary.

I would choose the red pill. No doubt about that. Ignorence is bliss, but my brain is searching for the truth.

Personally, I feel that we already live in a somewhat manufactured world .. just look around us. I don't particularly like it but I don't have many other options open at this time, apparently real estate prices have sky rocketed on Mars.

As for other question about ignorance being blissful. If I consider that question based on your ideas of there being no death, greed, broken hearts etc .. Then no, I would much rather be aware ...

I don't feel that I can grow as a person without learning life lessons. Whether they be good or bad ones .. they have and will shape who I am as an individual and how I handle the things that are put before me..

I thought about the concept of whether or not our world is manufactured. I actually don't think so...I mean regardless of how easy it may be to stay with the grain, the option is available for all of us to seek the truths.

Oh, without a doubt the option is there .. it just seems to me that the number of people that go with the grain, is a rather large one.

Red pill. I want to see what is real and deal with it, not hide in a dream.

awareness is more blissful than ignorance. And i don't think either of them is so fulfilling

You can't 'unsee' the seen and you can't 'unknow' the known, so if I had to choose, I'd choose ignorance.

I'll take the red for reality pill, thanks.

It isn't so much that ignorance = bliss

but rather that knowlege = outrage

After I saw the Matrix, I still sometimes wonder if we r not already living in some fabricated reality...

But presuming I could live here or in the Matrix, I'd pick here. I've come this far, crap and all. I'd like to see how it turns out.

From my perspective life is already perfect as it is. So I guess I've been swallowing the blue pill all along.

Give me some of your happiness. Or do I have to wait until I'm 70 and wiser before I can really enjoy life?
    2. nothingprofound
You don't need mine. I'm sure you've got plenty of your own.

Animals live in ignorance - and they get completely taken advantage of, and some even become extinct

But then - if you don't really care who is to stop you?

If taking the red pill means still hanging on to the people who make me happy in this reality then yes, I will take that - if it's a complete reboot and I'm stuck knowing only myself, then no

i would most definitely stick to where we are now - by knowing everything and being satisfied with everything will give me no adrenaline of living challenges and growing!
then again.. living in the imperfect world, what would i know about a perfect world. i'm happy where i am despite anything

    matrix questions...hmm
a manufactured world would suck if there's a really real world out there. ignorance is a lacking of information, without information, where would we be?
if we knew not of the wheel or fire, would we still be in caves?

i'd take the red pill and fall down the rabbit hole.

hmm...that movie definitely was one that made you think...

If I has a chance to un-learn all I knew just to be able to live normal again, I would not.
    Red pill for me.

But, but, but ... you can fly in the Matrix!

with me, I have to know everything. I am always looking for something deeper or just below the surface in every action, situation or communication. The need for truth I think is inborn to me, I would rather be miserably aware than blissfully ignorant.
