Hello there,
I have rebuilt my family blog www.weiersmuller.org over the last couple of weeks using a completely new platform.
I think it is starting to look close to ready. I would like some feedback with regards to bugs, usability, accessibility and contents (I already found a few problems and limitations).
I am happy to return the favour,
Kind regards,
Marc.

I loved the site design!! The site loaded pretty quick and about the content, it's good as well!
mine's deliciousfingers.blogspot.com! -
My suggestions:
1. The site took unusually long to load. The site response is slow. You may need to work on that.
2. And I'm thinking of a second to write and I can't. You have it all!!
Good content, easy navigation, very well organized and looks presentable. -
Having a header image will be better than the text.
Your theme is not that attractive for me.
Check this great theme : www.themesnap.com/theme-demos/publisher-theme/
I have used this before.
You can host the Amazon Picture and other Image by your own to load the page faster.-
Thanks for the feedback.
The theme you pointed out looks indeed even better than mine. Are you the author/owner? Or a user?
To be honest I would not buy a theme for my family blog however I may eventually need a new theme for my property website: www.mega-quick-sale.co.uk so I will track this site.
Can you elaborate one the Amazon picture? How to go about hosting them? They are pulled in my the module. -
Try without the Module. I think you can have the same style by supplying html code
Host the Image (Upload) to your website like you did for your mega sale Logo.
I am not the owner of the theme. If you know some people with a developer license of the theme or any, set it up with them.(much Cheaper)
Browse through the net and check out all good Theme and style before going for your own customize paid theme.
Best Wishes!

I liked the site and the content, it's a good review site.
The website loaded slowly for me, but it also loaded all at once (not part by part). I liked the video links, they were cute. It's making me consider putting up videos of my little man (4 month old son) in my about me section.
Also, your banner didn't load correctly for me. The text was maybe too big or the column for it is too small (is it a column or a row...the box thingy)
so instead of the font spilling outside of the box, it is being limited to the size of it. I would suggest either making your font smaller or making the column larger.
www.crisrodigital.com
check mine out, if you want to, rate it on blogged. Thanks
Note: I put it together yesterday, so it still needs some work-
Quite a funky theme, it really stands out and look different. You are targeting teckies I suppose which is ok but you will alienate non techies.
The scrolling is a little odd. When I scroll I see like a square area loading and refreshing half a second later behind the rest, very odd indeed. It is mostly visible at the bottom of the page.
I did not notice the "toolbar" at the bottom as I was looking for it at the top where usually banners and main links are found. Is that intentional? Have you tried with the toolbar at the top?
The trick is that many people will expect it and not look for it at the bottom. Also there is not clear and obvious definition of "who is talking" because there is no clear banner with the blog name or yours.
Can I ask you what you use to run this blog btw? The them is extremely involved and complicated. Did you build that yourself?
Kind regards,
Marc.
