   Rednecks? The term started because they're commonly farmers or tradesman so they're out in the sun a lot. It makes the back of their neck red, so they called them rednecks. As far as location, they all live in the south states and have accents. They're typically rude, arrogant, fat, and raise a lot of dogs.
   
   It's technically used as an offensive term, but rednecks smell like piss and they're stupid anyway. It's in the same boat as using the word "Indian" which was only made offensive because enough people complained about it and poured money into the cause to have everyone stop saying it. But I say it all the time, Indian Indian Indian. See? Nothing to it.

   Well, guys, thanks for the input...I pretty much knew it wasn't a complimentary term, somehow, and I thought that necks actually being red must have somethin' to do with it...Now I know...
