Reepicheep or Puss in Boots?

Alright, this is part of an ongoing question between my husband and I.

Think about Reepicheep (the little fighting mouse) from the second Narnia movie.

Now think about Puss in Boots from the second Shrek movie.

Alright, now which one do you think is cuter and/or would win in a fight? I have an ongoing poll for this on my personal blog under the post "I Blame Him", lol.

Heh. I just watched the second Narnia movie like a week ago and was so irritated by so many things, among them how Reepicheep was essentially a mouse version of Shrek's Puss in Boots!

  Since it sounds like you are inferring that they borrowed the concept for Reepicheep from the Shrek movie, you do realize that the Chronicles of Narnia were written by C.S. Lewis in 1949, 54 years before Shrek II, right?

No question. Plus, the puss could take the mouse. So this is also a predator vs prey situation.

  I don't know, in the movie they tied up a nice orange kitty pretty nicely. Then again that cat wasn't armed. Lol.

You will be in a better position to judge once you have read Voyage of the Dawn Treader (might be a while before they film it). Pretty sure that will make your mind up for you.

  for those who are lazy, they had a really wonderful TV series in the late 80's. Prince Caspian and the Voyage of the Dawn Treader was in 1989 and you can probably find it on dvd. I remember watching it and thinking it was pretty great. 180 minutes, so basically like a long movie.

  I remember reading that a long, long time ago. I'll have to check it out again to refresh my memory though because it's certainly been a few years.

I'm tempted to vote Puss in Boots but I'm biased, I have a cat that looks just like him and then again I also like Reepicheep a lot... but I'm also biased on that vote. I might just be picking that because my husband picked Puss. Lol, so, 'still' undecided.

I vote for Reepicheep. He had a singular purpose from an enchanted dream and followed it bravely to the end, reaching the utter east in the Voyage of the Dawn Treader.
