Yeah, Codesucker has opinions - and there is nothing that gets people on edge more than religion, politics and american Idol. I totally voted for Ruben, but after the way he disrespected Clay I wouldn't buy his albums.

If you believe in God then that is your right. I am a bastard heathen atheist.. Not agnostic.. Atheist. If god showed himself to me I would think it to be aliens playing with my inferior brain.

I always vote democrat, regardless of who is running or the issues, I would vote for Hitler if he showed up sporting a blue tie. Some people like to look at the issues and make informed educated decisions.. I usually vote for the fellow with the sortest name, the Nov 2008 election threw a screwball at me since they both roll with 5 letter last names, so I shortened Obama to O, checked out some internet porn, voted and called it a night.

Feel free to criticize my ideals, as I am posting this to a public forum and by doing so I realize people are going to read it and pick it apart, I have probably offended some folks as well, thats ok.. It's just words, and words alone have no power, especially if they aren't even spelled right.

Codesucker are you one of those yippy dogs that bark a lot but don't bite....or am I wrong?
    1. codesucker
you are correct, I would never bite - and even if I did bite it would certainly not be too hard. I'm the kind of guy who instantly forgives anyone who apologizes to me (Is the term for that good Christian?)

      Thanks for reading my thoughts

Can an atheist be a "good christian?"

I've seen some who really did try their darnedest, usually to suit a spouse. Of course they were a ridiculous mess
    4. codesucker
not without ripping a hole through the fabric of reality
    5. morgantj
I hate it when I rip a holes through the fabric of reality

@mogantj - It's quite possible to live by the teachings of Jesus - Love for humanity, forgiveness, peace, lack of prejudice, helping the poor, separation of church and state, non-vengeance etc, without believing that there is a God for Jesus to be the Son of. Does that count?
