      We don't seem to have any way to check whether we have people blocked, but I thought that if you did, you couldn't shout to them, either. I usually only block spammers (and I'm sure we never thought you were that)
      
      But now that this has come up...admins? Is there a way to see people we have blocked? To change status?

   There's been a lot of talk recently in these forums and a couple of groups about whether or not bloggers are journalists. My contention is that it depends on what they're writing, not whether or not they're getting paid. Shirley provides a great example of a blogger who is actually going out and gathering the pertinent information like a journalist rather than just re-hashing someone else's news story.

      Make me feel good about myself I didn't finish but I did go to school for broadcast journalism. I found a site that offers free journalism classes as well and it's self paced and I'm doing that too.
