Hello All !
I've seen this Micro-Blogging concept is very popular among many.
I have considered taking it up myself, but Micro-Blogging isn't ' exactly ' what I'm looking for.
I've recently been thinking about the idea of embedding a smaller Blog ( side-blog/micro-blog ) [ via an iFrame ] on the sidebar of my Blogger Blog - essentially a Blog ' inside ' a Blog.
However, I also consider visitor-feedback and visitor-commenting an important component of constructing an side-blog/micro-blog, so that visitor's can provide feedback and reactions to the text content that I might put in the side-blog/micro-blog.; Futhermore, I'd like all feedback and comments to be visible to subsequent visitors, who then can, in turn, comment on those comments and feedback left by earlier visitors.
I have already tried JS-Kit Commenting, but I have Not been able to get it to work properly. I know Twitter seems to be very popular, but I'm looking for an application that doesn't have post-content-length restrictions / limitations, and enables me to place a threaded ' Reply ' button at the tail-end of each block of text or post that I write, so that visitor comments don't have to be strictly sequential or linear ( like shout-boxes ). Visitors should be able to choose which particular section/post they'd like to comment on, and those replies should appear directly below that particular section.; Comments/Replies in each particular section could optionally be retractable in a drop-down section, so that a visitor could choose to reveal a drop-down of the comments for a section when they click on " # comments " ( like a full Blog ).
I've already spent several days doing research on the internet, not have not been able to find an application or script that matches my desired layout or description.
Now, I'm appealing to the wider community here on Blog-Catalog for some broader ideas and advice.
Does anyone know if there are any other equivalent alternatives to JS-Kit, or a script or application that functions as I have described above ?
Any assistance will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
