Review My Blog and Win $50 via PayPal

Hey Guys,
Just two days ago I launched my blog over at www.freshrevision.com. I decided to run a little contest on here in an effort to connect with bloggers and other like-minded people. I’m already a fairly successful Internet entrepreneur and I look forward to also becoming a successful blogger. And I don’t measure blogging success by simply looking at the income, but rather by looking at the connections and friendships I have built.
To enter this BlogCatalog exclusive contest, just post a 150+ word review of my new blog on your blog or website. Make sure to post the link in the comments here. Within a couple of days, as I read all the reviews, I will announce a winner based on which review resonated the most with me. Everyone who enters will be mentioned and given a link in a “thank you” post on my blog. I will send the winner $50 via paypal.
Note: I understand that this a new blog and there isn't a lot of content yet, but you can still review it based on factors such as usability, design and style of writing.
If you don’t have time and are too busy to write a review, feel free to still say hello and post a link to your blog. Also feel free to add me as a friend on here and I will do the same. I look forward to getting to know more of you guys.

The thought of winning $50 is enticing to be sure, but I wouldn't recommend putting up that kind of money until you have generated content steadily for at least a month.
Besides, most people will critique it for free. -

This is free: It looks good and you have a single idea/concept. I think you need more content. But I do like the single concept - I've found out that you need content and more content but not "Net Casting" (posting anything and everything in hopes someone will visit).

I just figured the contest will make this more exiting (there is a lot of "hey look at my blog posts" here already). The last thing i would want to do is "net-cast" or spam some place for traffic.

FreshRevision, Nards here... Looks good to me also. Just needs more content. Also you may want to change your spelling of Categories. (You have it listed as "Catagories") Simply change the second 'a' to an 'e' - Nards-

Thanks for pointing that out. Its embarrassing that neither I nor my web developer caught that spelling mistake. Its fixed now

I checked out your blog which only has single post and no page rank as yet. More importantly the single post you made contains no links within it to authoritative sources. The search engines can take 4-6 weeks or more to add any new sites. Please contact Google for more information and set up a webmasters account. Did you know that it takes about 20 - 25 posts before most registries will accept a blog for registration? Once you have at least 20 posts, a site map and Google has indexed your site then, please feel free to contact me and I will review your blog for you free of charge.

timethief, I appreciate that you are trying to help me out. I've been in internet business for 6 years now and i know that google can take weeks (even months) to index a website. I got the freshrevision.com domain a while back and i was able to have it indexed on google even before i launched the blog. I have also been using all of google's webmaster tools for a while now. I also don't see why I would need links to authoritative sources, as I blog about my own ideas and concepts. I hope you didn't take this the wrong way. I added you to my friend list

It could be a nice way for us to make $50, but it is not worthy for you, unless you have at least 50 quality articles.-
As i said before, the purpose of the contest was to do something different on here. I didn't want to just create a "look at my blog" thread. I figured a contest would make the introduction of my blog more interesting and what good is a contest without a good prize

The other three reviews were great and i would like to thank praning5254, chinny and Lubel. I will post links to their blogs in a thank post sometime in the very near future. The thing that really set Anthony's review apart was the depth and attention to detail. Anthony's 1300 word review covered everything from the SEO to the usability of the blog. Anthony was able to add value to his blog by using the review as a case study, rather then simply an advertisement for a blog.
This contest was an experiment and i will post my findings on my blog in the next couple of weeks.
Look out for a lot future contests and if you have similar interests to mine, don't hesitate to add me to your friends on here.-
