So I make my own parking spaces....I don't park in handicap, but one over make my own...
I always go 5 miles over the limit.

Today I have the door open and all the windows opened, and the girls are sooooo excited they get to run in and out without being scolded....

So whatta u think? Are u a rule breaker? Or. Are you one of those types that can't stand to break a rule???

    I follow my own rules.

Rules are a concept developed by us and we make mistakes, therefore rules are faulty... I dont follow rules, I follow my own principles. Sometimes my principles are in accordance with these so called "rules".
  3. HollytheHousewife
Well u say that, but do you really...
    1. R1VERT1LT
do I really what?... some rules make no sense... In the US you have to be 21 to drink, but you can drive at 16... hmmmmmm... Let me think, give a kid a car or a can of beer?......
    2. HollytheHousewife
Haha..tru that....well like I said I follow my own book
    3. anthony9910
I said that on another topic! It's stupid in US, with a beer you get drunk and go to bed, with a car you have a crash and die!
    4. R1VERT1LT
Here in Portugal its the contrary... legal age to drink is 16 and to drive its 18. But you drink before you are 16.
    5. anthony9910
I started to drink with 13 xD Smoking with 14 xD LOL
  4. HollytheHousewife
I follow my own principals and concepts, but I have never ever met anyone to do the same,no matter what

Rules are made in a form of self restriction. But since rules in the national form are made and enforced by the government (local or federal) they are used for population restriction, wither it be for threats or for "the good of man kind", which is another subject all together. I remember one quote my history professor told me. "The ones who make the rules, have the power to not abide by them".

Rules can be our total enemy, the best sort of order comes about without rules, if we are too tight it backfires

Uhm, making your own parking space just makes 2 spaces unavailable. In Chicago, if you do something like that, your car will end up getting keyed. It's not so much being a rule breaker and free spirit as much as it is being inconsiderate.

Driving 5 miles over the speed limit in the city is fairly typical.
    1. Sebastyne
I really do not like people who "make their own parking spaces". I haven't keyed anyone for doing that, but I have seriously felt like doing it.
  13. anthony9910
I have a new blog holly xD Check it out
  14. HollytheHousewife

I follow rules that infringe on other people around me.
If I drive and talk on the phone that is an infringement on others.
I followed that rule before there were law against it. Not all rules are governed by state or government. Some are self created so to respect others around you. Some for personal safety, Some because you honor and respect yourself.
Do I break rules / laws, lol, more than you'd like to know, but age has caused me to think twice before I indulge in pleasures I used to have when I was younger.

I honestly think rules are there for a reason. That doesn't mean I don't break some rules, like speed limits and jay walking, but I am pretty good with rules. My grade school teacher always told us, that "Think what would happen if EVERYONE broke the rule you are about to break" and very often when you do think about it, it would create a complete chaos, and to most part, rules are there to make everyone's lives easier, not harder. For the MOST part.

    @HollytheHousewife

    Thks!

And, It infringe a few rules!

Well I thin that is a little bit immature, breaking rules like that.
Whatever you do don't go to Singapore. We'd be visiting you in jail, that is if they let you have visitors.
    1. anthony9910
Just the small one's xD Not the huge rules! LOL
    2. HollytheHousewife
Yea... I figured you and madame would say something like that....which is totally fine,we immature people are just damned to a life of heartache and greif. Well that and a whole lotta FUN!!!!

Whenever I see a car parked in 2 spaces, my hand starts to grab for my keys and I get the sudden urge to move towards the side of their car where I can show them my appreciation for their courteousness. Luckily, I've never once acted on that urge. Good thing I follow the rules huh?
  23. nothingprofound
Some rules make sense, some don't. The rules I don't follow are the ones that make sense.

Some times I may stop and run a red light if no one is around.
  26. crazyTsu
If others are doing it then you MUST do it, because laws will be changed accordingly
If others are overspeeding then law requires you to keep up with them
If others are entering the country illegally, you dont have to be Mr. smart alec and follow the rules either. Just do what everyone's doing, because these "everyone" will change the rules from under your feet!
  27. HollytheHousewife
    Baaalah blah blah
  28. nothingprofound
Rules aren't made to be broken, but we are.
