  You can still blog in secret, and not tell people where your secret site is .. just like I have a secret site or two floating around that's not part of my network, nor mentioned anywhere and (I hope) does not get traced back to me vis normal search criteria.

I blog anonymously. Some family and friends know, but only ones that I know won't comment and be like "Hi, your full name is this and you live at this address and dance here". So Basically, my friends that aren't idiots know that I am me.

I'm an anonymous blogger. I do it because some of my site's subject matter might not be looked upon favorably with my employer or coworkers (I work in a highly conservative workplace). I also try to keep my anonymity because there are a few 'nut cases' that I've interacted with at a local message board who would use my personal information for embarrassing or illegal things.

I blog anonymously as well. For the most part, anyway. I write a political blog, and I've pissed off just a few people. I prefer they didn't show up on my doorstep in the early AM. I'm such a bitch when I get death threats before I've had my coffee

I told my family and friends about my blog. My friends don't read it, and I don't know if my family reads it. Although if they did read it [my family, that is] I'd get emails telling me why my blog is unChristian and blah blah blah. And if my employer found out, I doubt they would be happy either.

Oh well.

I blog anonymously. A few family members know but none of my friends knows about it. It's more fun this way. I get to tell stories or write about my feelings without worrying if someone would get hurt.

I blog in secret. I don't think that anyone I know in real life knows that I write a blog, and I don't really want them to. That way, I know that I can say what I really think without it having any unwanted repercussions in my personal or professional relationships. There's nothing really controversial, but what can I say? Apparently I'm a control freak.

for me blog is not secret, but the blogger is secret. some blogger doesn't provide About us or about me, and that is why secret.

I secretly blog from the bathroom a lot of times...I keep my laptop in the back of the toilet tank and lock myself in the bathroom at family functions for hours on ends while I groan and complain loudly that I am having severe gastrointestinal issues.

Sometimes I just need to be on a tirade about nettles or Omega 3's or some other random thing...

I want to keep my real name out of the search engines for now. I am an artist, and my blog is my art, but I need a part-time job to keep the money in the bank. Socially, the job is a snake-pit and I don't want any connection between my job and my art, so the real name is off-line for now. Of course I tell everyone else about my blog, so it's only a secret in one aspect of my life.
