   I don't know about dumb, maybe oblivious or unobservant or even not-so-confident might be a better way to phrase it.
   
   I know my husband missed my signals - even the more overt ones for oh, about a decade LOL. He just didn't think it could possibly be true that what I was doing was flirting - seriously flirting. That's a self confidence issue, and he noticed it, but just assumed I was only kidding the entire time.
   
   As it turned out, I wasn't....obviously

   Let me guess, that came from Cosmo? Don't believe all the stuff you read. Women are known for sending "Mixed" signals then blame guys for not picking up on the "Right" frequency. It's 6 of one and half a dozen of the other.

      Then again, after reading the article I had to laugh - it stated that women are the smarter sex because they keep using signals that men don't understand.

    Men ARE dumb in this department, so I decided not to keep being dumb, but tweaked my thinking (yeah, it hurt for awhile).I got smart years ago when it came to women flirting. If a guy THINKS she is flirting she is probably just being friendly, ladylike, and nice. If she comes up to you and basically says, hey, you are going to go have a drink/dinner with me, meet me here...then THAT is flirting.
