I love my new housewarming gift. I was going to post on my own site but Jenn has already done so. She has a really good way of mixing old with new if you're new to BC and haven't been to her site and love junkin' (thrifting) then what are you doing here? Go to her site! Anyhow, in August of next year they will be placed in my brand new kitchen.

Oh, I know there wasn't an obligation. I just thought it was the best reason for a housewarming gift I'd heard of. And we'd been rooting you on here for the Habitat home, hoping it would work out for you for months.
I can't wait to see your final place! The ones you're constructing now are such nice places with such possibility! -

I don't know if you saw the house on my site but the inside of it had spackling and around the light fixtures it looks like a sun or a starburst. I couldn't take pictures of that there's no electric yet.

Yes I saw the house, it looks wonderful. I bet the lady who is getting it is so happy.

She's very happy and it's well deserved she has had a rough two years to get it. They had to put her on hold because she had cancer.

Its a great organisation though and I wouldn't of known about it if you hadn't posted about it on BC. -
She is a great lady. I probably should explain her grumpy look that is the first thing my mom mentioned. Her cancer was of the toungue. It is an awesome organization. I have heard so many stories and done so much since. Like hammering walls, putting insulation in, painting...
Habitat is around the world too. In africa they teach how to make homes out of mud and straw. They do it based on how the people inthe country or area live.
