I'm not sure what's happening here. Some suggest the pencil is evil and represents some sort of child abuse. It could be. I don't have an explanation. Drugs come to mind. Edit: I thought it may represent a generic descent into madness - but the sexual molestation interpretation does fit with the overall creepiness.
