People say that selecting a Gift for a women is easy... You've so many choices like clothes, shoes, handbags, accessories, Makeup, Makeup, Makeup and Makeup. Lol.
But for Men, there are very few things to select from. What do you say? Let me narrow it down.
"WHAT DO YOU THINK CAN BE A PERFECT CHOICE FOR A HUSBAND'S GIFT?"
Pour in your ideas.

That's like me asking everybody what TonyB's cousin's wife's uncle's daughter likes to eat for breakfast. Or, what my neighbour's pet's favorite toy is.
Details. What is your husband's likes and dislikes? age? profession? online? offline? hobbies?-
I agree with you PetLvr. A Gift always depends on the factors you listed above and many others.
My question was not specific to gaining gift ideas for my-husband as such. I wanted to know in general what gifts did wives Gifted or what gifts Husbands have received. Just wanted to break that mental-block that you can just give Shirts and perfume to men.

well, I usually go through wallets pretty quick.
kind of a boring gift though.
how about sex every day for a year? -
I gave my husband a pen on his latest birthday. yeah, a simple pen, since he lost his pen somehow.
He said it was a timely gift.

Some ideas I've written about that seem to go over well: soaps and body sprays *made specifically for men* (nothing that smells fruity or girly), ipod or iphone holders (guys love toys and accessories to go with toys), handbound leather journals / organizers, belt buckles, photography....there are lots of great ideas out there!

Tools if he likes to build things
Car Accessories if he has a classic car
Sporting accessories if he likes sports
A lap dance if he has been really good LOL -
I would never buy my wife makeup or makeup tools as a gift ... why are you so obsessed with that?!
For my wife (I am told) earring and any other jewelry will always be happily accepted as a gift. Perfume - only if it doesn't overwelm and something she can wear at work in a closed space and not have her co-workers pass out and hate her.
For myself - (besides any sex related gifts) - sure .. tools are nice, but if you say you want tools one year - all of a sudden you have a gabillion tools you'll never use and keep having to buy bigger and bigger tool boxes.
I would much rather have participation in my hobby - than inanimate objects for use with my hobby - as the gift. Time spent.
E.G. dinner and a movie at a theatre (the latest sci-fi, action, or violence new release); help with the blogging (promotion, writing, etc); help with my business at home (filing, organizing, scheduling, etc); etc. -
