Look in the dictionary for a definition of sensuality, depending upon the version and maker, varying definitions exist. Ask any person to define sensuality, and still more interpretations will be offered.
Sensuality in it’s truest form is not to be confused with sex. Sensuality means to be aroused by things of beauty, luxury and refinement, to be aware of and explore the world, life and love with all the senses.
To be sensual is to be aware of and appreciate the natural, ecstasy that can be found in the sensuous, passionate world of feeling, inhabited by poets, artists, song writers and dreamers. Being sensual brings to us a life felt through our senses, seen only in the world of spirit.
Sensuality Test
Sensuality is, in essence, how in tune you are with your senses. Do you notice smells, textures, sounds? How sensual you are plays a key role in both your sex life and your overall ability to derive pleasure from life. 79% - which doesn't surprise me because I know I have an overblown sense of smell. I pick up on odors, both good and bad - and smell and taste are both big parts of my sex-drive.
I think I've mentioned this before, but I seem to be unable to resist pheromones during certain....well, I'm sure you get the picture. My wife swore by that for years and I thought it was nonsense, but then I read an article in Time while travelling a few months ago that suggests that certain men are more in tune with pheromones and that they drive them crazy. Most people that I've been that close with use the word "animal" to describe my lustful/sensual traits.
On a non-sexual note - I can smell when it's going to snow or rain and am surprised that some folks say they can't. A lot of my memories of youth are associated with smell, such as:
-the smell of gum on a fresh pack of Topps baseball cards - I used to smell the cards any chance I got.
- the smell of a freshly printed book. Some textbooks in school had smells that I was fascinated with
- the smell of a baseball glove
- the smell of gasoline
- hell, I don't even really mind being around the smell of manuer.
But the strongest of all is the "scent", if you will, of a female. I don't mean a perfumed scent - I mean that whiff of chemicals if you get in close around the neck or other areas that we won't go into. That sort of thing.-

I am so with you on that one! My experience with my wife is about the same as yours. At first she would find it kind of creepy when I would smell the back of her neck, but now she quite likes it. After 20+ years of marriage, I can tell how she's feeling from her smell. I have been able to tell that she was getting sick before she felt any symptoms from the change in her smell. Heh, these last two still kind of creep her out a bit, but she appreciates it nonetheless :-)

I have certain body lotions that remind me of certain places. Like country apple went with my on my honeymoon, so it always reminds me of Cancun.
That example happened serendipitously, so then I began doing it intentionally. I took something else to Paris several years ago, and so on. It is amazing to get such an evocative experience by putting on some moisturizer!-
