Yes, I'm a yoast subscriber and that's a good article.

I stopped reading Joost's blog because all he talks about lately is his latest Wordcamp roundtable or some cloud based app he's working on. There's very little SEO lately.

I'm a subscriber but I'm selective about what I actually take time to read and I'm reconsidering the blogs I'm linked to. No doubt the wordcamp clique thing is there. Frankly it's everywhere and I don't mean just wordpress.

IT types go off to a software conference, workshop or camp and come back full of presumed important cutting edge information about what they think is going on, and/or will be going on in the blogopshere. [rolling eyes]

What they fail to note is that the majority of bloggers aren't attending and could careless about the "campiness" they exude. Example: we all didn't rush out to buy what's required to become video casters and podcasters right?

To those who didn't attend the attending returnees seem to be very much like new religious converts ie. annoying. To those who did attend the non-attendees seem to be the cyber equivalent of the unwashed masses. lol ...

I'm also an on again off again reader. Sometimes he gives out real useful and interesting information. Other times I don't bother reading past the first sentence.

lol ... you make me laugh because I'm a speed reader. I whizz through the first paragraph and if it's not of interest zoom -- I'm gone.
