I just read an interesting news article
news.yahoo.com/s/livescience/20080716/sc_livescience/sexypeoplesoundbetter;...
It says people with sexy voices have more symmetric bodies (not necessarily faces).
"The sound of a person's voice reveals a considerable amount of biological information," said Susan Hughes, an evolutionary psychologist from Albright College in Reading, Pa. "It can reflect the mate value of a person."

This could be true, but occasionally you will meet someone whose voice and body do not line up at all and it's really surprising.

How, then, do they explain radio DJs?

      Oooh, good one TSR.

This sounds like crackpot science to me, you know, like Bigfoot or Micheal Jackson.

TSR has a good point! I also don't find newscasters very purdy either. I have also known some really grungy overweight men who have really amazing voices, ya know that rough husky voice type..um yeah. I'm more into their voice then anything. Oh and accents, I don't care what you look like, but if you got an accent, I'm listening! (not specifically you, just speaking generally):)

Well this is what polybore sounds like.

I am quite symmetrical, although one ear is slightly bigger than the other. People don't notice, I have to point it out to them. Am rather proud of my big ear.
