I have progressive ideas but my viewpoint comes from knowledge of history that I study from primary sources not just from school books which elude many important details. That's why so many people cannot really judge politics correctly because they don't know what's behind apparent discourse of well-being which in reality is just hypocrisis, weither at left or at right.
Also the opposition between US / Europe is a big Hollywoodian Film, in truth they are all united by Globalization / Internationalization, the two facettes of the same piece of money. -

This rightfully belongs in the political discussions board..
anyway, Political scene in India is a shithole..
we have a Prime Minister who has no real authority, who has never won a seat to the House of Commons(Lok Sabha) in all the time he has contested, is too meek to accept a challenge to a live TV debate
Then we have his contender who is a hardcore religious person when he faces to the east and a secular person when facing the west. Who comes across as a well read and amiable old man one day and talks petty the next day
We also have a so called third front who have no common ideology.. some parties have no ideology themselves in fact.. every leader wants to be a Prime Minister including one who slept through half his small term as Prime Minister.. another Narcissistic Pink wearing lady who puts up her own statues and another who says he will ban English and use of Computers in school to take the country forward..
The communist parties.. I rather not speak about

Everything is politics. In my opinion, CSpan offers the best entertainment around...politics at its best...and worst. Humor and pathos aplenty. And a great mirror to the inner workings of the human "mind" as evidenced by the WJ callers.-
but it's not a good game in current world, isn't it?

They should be kept to the political discussions board rather than clogging up the general discussions.
(As you might guess, I don't have much - if any - interest in politics, and fortunately now live in a country where I don't understand the language sufficiently to be able to follow newspaper or television.) -
I've never been interested in politics. It just seems like one big dogfight to me.-
in the end no matter what ideology in whatever century humans do the same, struggle to survive the best they can and as usual become the pawns for the elites in power or pull the financial strings. -
