that the Sichuan earthquake that took over 60 000 lives is due to China's bad karma? Do you think countries have Karma?

Well if they do then somebody come up with some way of scoring countries so we know the best places to live/holiday without tempting fate.

But seriously, Ms Stone needs to get a brain!

#1, her comments are sad & disgusting
#2, she is a complete airhead for saying such inflammatory statements in public

I believe only individuals are judged, not countries.

I actually interviewed Sharon Stone a while ago and she acted like an obnoxious diva then so her remarks don't surprise me at all.

      That was hilarious.

    Sharon Stone is an idiot.

Why do we care what Hollyweird Airheads have to say about anything?

It makes the world interesting, I suppose. Give us something to talk and laugh about.

She will probably get a lot of bad press for this. You have to wonder what motivates people to pass such judgments. There are so many actresses and actors who do a lot of good. That's a terrible example to set.

karma and anything about religion is dangerous ground, over here there was a coach (i think) who a couple of years a ago said that people are disabled as punishment for a bad past life. the quy was nearly crucified.

It was Glen Hoddle the England football team manager.

No he actually admitted he said it, he was into all sorts of new age nonsense. He actually sent one of the injured players to a faith healer, the player sat down in the chair and the faith healer stood behind him and he said "Just a trim please love, not too much off the top" and was subsequently dropped from the team.

people should just stick to what they're good at. Hey remember David Ike, he was another fella who should have just shut up
    5. aningeniousname
Yeah he was another ex footballer who lost it big time, lovely tracksuits though.

thats mybe what pushed him overthe limit, body overheated inside all that synthetic fiber and his brain started spouting rubbish

Ms Stone's got not excuse for making that sweeping statement in public. It's a bad reflection on her Hollywood status. If she's got nothing good to say in public, it will definitely be wise for her to keep her mouth shut. It's sad really. Just merely some beauty without a brain.

Ah, geez -- when did Stone go off the deep-end?

NO, I don't believe countries have karma.
    1. footiam
If countries have karma, I suppose cups and plates have karma too!
    2. dlowe
Was she ever in the shallow end? LOL

I don't believe in Karma, but similar suggestions have been made (with regard to entire countries) in Marian apparitions.

"Her Karma" has caught up with her in one way at least for this remark.

The Founder of UME theaters stated his displeasure with her remarks and stated that they will never again play a movie that Sharon Stone is in.

UME theaters mind you, is the largest market in China.

    Here's something I did a short while back, when this was still kinda news;

Yes, I read about UME and the displeasure of the founder. I suppose that is instant karma! By the way, blog about that, instant karma in my Dhamma Delight blog, dhammadelights.blogspot.comj
