I've been giving this some thought.
What do you say?
Does one lead to success over the other?

This is a good question. My mother had a phrase she used often, "You can always be better than you are." And while true, it also tends to leave you focused on what's wrong and not what's positive.
In terms of blogging, and just getting out there, I think playing to your strengths is a great way to start. Do what you know you're good at, what you're comfortable with. What you have passion for.
Then the things you don't know as well-- say, maybe you're not as technically sound-- you can work on along the way.
But hey, maybe that works for general Life, too.

I'm a dork, and I write about dopey stuff. It seems to be working for me.
It keeps me happy and off the streets. -
You should be playing to your strengths - I would drop a link for you to look at here - but I have been told that is bad form... troll-like even.
So Mr. Yankee fan - if you drop me a note - I will give you a link. But - I have said before - it is impossible to be great at everything, so it is better to decide what it is you are very good at and make it your greatness! Then surround yourself with those who can aid in the other areas!
