Here is mine I think this is my best because i was able to bring one free ticket to someone who could use it to better their blogging skills at blog world expo next month. I will be doing interview with Rick Calvert CEO of Blog World Expo, We will have press passes and I will bring the info to You guys from video, live radio and my bloggers school blog.
    bloggersschool.blogspot.com/2007/10/win-blog-world-expo-ticket-contest-fro....
    1. marenda
So am I understanding this correctly, you are giving away a ticket to BlogWorld Expo in a discussion on blogcatalog? where? Maybe I need a lil more coffee I apologize for being a little slow but how does this work?
  6. lambora29
I have lots of best but the below one describing a night at village was better, there are more about village series you can read.

    totaheri.blogspot.com/2007/10/village-night-on-field.html
    1. marenda
I'm almost at a loss for words...I live in California and your experience is by far unlike anything I have ever experienced. Are you living in the village currently? very interesting thanks for sharing such a thought provoking perspective.
  7. MichaelATL43
I can't say that this is my best because in all honesty it's didn't come from me. My blog is dedicated to growing in a relationship with God and everythng I write comes from Him!

Compared to knowing Christ, I consider everything that this world has to offer as pure rubbish.

Do you have the love of that Father in you? This post will help you decide.

    living-water-of-life.blogspot.com/2007/10/do-not-love-this-world.html
    1. marenda
"I know how to live on almost nothing or with everything. I have learned the secret of living in every situation, whether it is with a full stomach or empty, with plenty or little"

      right on!
    2. MichaelATL43
Thanks Marenda. It's ties itself in with what you posted today as well. If we are not in love with the things of this world then we are not reluctant to give.

      Have an awesome day!

There's a handful of mien that I really like right now ... all related:
    www.coyotethunder.com/RedMonkey/archives/2007/10/martin_lee_ande.html
(that one kinda stands alone ... the other two are a series)
    www.coyotethunder.com/RedMonkey/archives/2007/09/the_multicolour.html
    www.coyotethunder.com/RedMonkey/archives/2007/09/eating_crow.html

I like these three because they get back to some of the reflective narratives that I originally intended to do a lot of when I first started this blog. I think it's important to periodically think about why we act and react like we do ... and I think these three articles do that.
    1. marenda
you immediately captured my attention 1st line. I couldn't stop reading, your writing style/delivery is OUTSTANDING, this is thought provoking, painful, engaging, tragic, a very necessary and relevant post! Thank you for sharing
    2. ender
      thanks!

I have ticket for blog world expo given to me by there public relations department so I could bring this to the good people of blog catalog. So post comment on why you should go on my blog first and then a cut and paste it into the link I will put at bottom of that post on my blog this way i get good comments and we can have fun on blogcatalog as well. in one week i will choose a winner or maybe those who cant go can vote.
  11. InvisibleKnight
I don't really know which post is my best post. Each post I put up is different from the one before in content. I don't have one subject to write on but instead I write on what ever is playing on my mind that day, and so you will find computer technical posts mixed with political posts, religious posts mixed with pyscology posts. To me all topics are equally valid and equally worth writing about.

So I shall leave you to decide which post you enjoy the most.

is cindy really a worm farmer? where can I find the post about farming worms and who is like "Rose" I love The Golden Girls lol
    3. therealshari
Yeah, Cindy is really a worm farmer... as well as a farm hand, and all around willing set of hands.

She blogs about her experiences at dhaenterprises.com/CountryMusings/

Her worm blog is at dhaenterprises.com/VermicultureProject/

As for a "Rose", none of us are that refined. However, Mom fits the part fairly well. Bev is silver haired. Only Mom and Cindy are related. Can you relate to all that?

i finally came round to reading your full post , which i started last night ... and i like the way you have broken it down to the different types of givers and takers ... usually i find myself among the group of ( "oh i dont have enough time to give , so whats the use" , i guess )
    1. marenda
thank you arindra you just gave, what do you mean you don't have time to give lol. You gave me a few moments of your time (sometimes its the little things we do like reading and commenting on a blog that can make an ounce of difference)...
  27. Mouseclone
I'm way at the bottom. I'm sure after some time though I will move up ,, but really not people will just get placed below me.

    mouseclone.com/2007/personal/what-does-age-have-to-do-with-it
    1. marenda
this is a very interesting post that raises many issues...minors having consentual sex with adults no matter how you slice it or dice, the adult is always considered the guilty party...kids make poor decisions thats what kids do. Knowledge, maturity, wisdom, and experience usually come with age, as such, adults are expected to make better decisions than a child would...An adult that is having a sexual relationship with a child should be held accountable for his or her actions. To blame the child is crazy, the onus is and should always be on the ADULT.

I have a favorite post about James Hampton.
He was a visionary, who toiled for fourteen years creating a masterpiece, that no one ever saw until after his death.
I saw his work once and it was a life changing experience. Standing in front of his lifes work was a religious experience.
"Where there is no vision, the people perish".
    Here is the post:
