   Thanks guys - it is obvious that variety is easy with wordpress hosted. I know some html (check out what I've done with Blogger - not alot but I can dabble) - so if I can dabble in Blogger - do you reckon Wordpress hosted is easy to use?

      You don't even really need to know much HTML to use WP. I suppose if you want to make a unique theme or tweak a free theme, it would be handy, though mostly you'd need to know css or php. But as far as just setting the thing up, adding plug-ins, etc, you'll be fine.

   I personally found blogger difficult for me. Don't ask me why.
   I have a wordpress blog but now changing my other site to joomla. I find joomla easier to use. Maybe I buck the trend.

      That's interesting because I had a lot of problems getting my head around joomla. Though, I think perhaps having gotten a pretty good handle in WP, joomla may make more sense to me now.
