     Back in April, hubby (soccerguy) and I attended a marriage weekend with others from our church. While there, they asked the usual questions, like who has been married the longest, then the shortest. Since most attendees were in their mid thirties or older, it was no surprise that Soccerguy and I raised our hands-we were married the shortest number of years (two) since Father's Day of 2005. As hubby went forward to receive his award, a thick paperback book named, "What men know about their wives" which was completely empty, he commented that it sure is strange that the couple who has been married the shortest length of time had the most kids of all too!
     
     Our story is quite unique. Hubby lost his beloved late wife, mother of his eleven children (two with Down Syndrome and one premature baby that almost died) back in May 2004. I was divorced about that time from a diplomat (having lived in three countries across the globe and traveled to triple that many countries en route and for pleasure) and looking for work. Imagine having six servants working for you so you don't have to lift a finger to do anything, and then, you just quit to go home to good ole USA and end up becoming a nanny to eleven kids besides having five of your own!
     
     Tragedy, romance, the mundane, the extraordinary are all included in my blog of one month. Go check it out! (thanks)

     -analysis of major races at the tracks I handicap (i.e., race replays, photos, stats, etc.)
     -my "custom videos" featured on youtube (only 2 thus far)

     I just decided on the last one since I get so many comments and emails from folks that would love to know more but don't know where to start.      My little blog is titled "Out-of-Town with 4x4 Philippines" which I started as a small personal complimentary site for my main website/forum called 4x4 Philippines ( www.4x4ph.com ). Initially I just wanted it to be a place where I can document our out-of-town trips, both on-road and off-road, and where I can share these little narratives & photos with my relatives & friends, especially those out of the country.
     
     There was a time I kinda left it alone (no trips) so you'll notice a huge gap between the entries, though I have a few drafts waiting for me.
     
     Then just recently I decided I want it to grow bigger (that's why I created an account here :D) and one of my strategies to do this is to create a new category where I will review gear that I have, have used, and/or am using, that are important, or at least have a relation to, my blog topic.
     
     Anyway, (sorry for the long post) as with the discussion topic title here is my blog. I hope you like it.

     www.cinema-suicide.com has been up since June of '07. It began strictly as a movie review blog, specifically, horror/exploitation/cult movies but after my daughter was born, my free time dwindled and the site became primarily a news site for information relating to upcoming movies and dvd releases. It also widened the scope to include all of horror culture so I started including mention of music and comic books as well as movies. There is still the occasional review, though. I also recently added a discussion forum that is still very, very lonely.
