God is a Creator this is very right.... at this time 51% population out of world's total are Muslims believe in One God & believe that God create the Universe & every thing other then Muslims many religion also believe God in different form. your Question is since life on earth ,how many believe that god is main creator..?? from the day one people believe in God..
Existence of God, The human mind is not capable of grasping the Universe. We are like a little child entering a huge library. The walls are covered to the ceilings with books in many different tongues. The child knows that someone must have written these books. It does not know who or how. It does not understand the languages in which they are written. But the child notes a definite plan in the arrangement of the books.

I also noticed that non religious are 16%. I never realised we were such a big group.. Hurrah, assuming the statistics are truly representative -
ibelieve that Roman Catholics are the largest religious denomination (though by no means a majority)... not that any of that matters

I am puzzled as to why this is a matter of concern to you?
Even if the numbers indicated 51% - what value is there in them and to whom?
The important point is that there has NEVER been a time on Earth when everyone believed in the existence of God. -
well.. the question was how many people.. you gave a rough estimate for one particular group of people who believe in God and I just asked for the sources for your guesstimates..
focusing on the question, since my source says about 16% are non religious, I would say about 84% of present world population believes in God, give or take 15 %.

I cannot answer your question and neither can you, unless we know exactly how many people have lived on Earth since the beginning of time. Do you know how many? Does anyone even have an accurate estimate? I doubt it.
Even if we had the skeletons of every man, woman and a child who has lived on Earth we could NOT look into their minds, and therefore, we do not know what they believed in. And if we could, then what difference would it make to what any individual in the here and now believes in?
IMHO belief, faith (religion) are all very personal matters and posting these kinds of subjects to this forum brings them no dignity and it wins no converts.-
what if we rephrase the question to how many of the present population? That is something we can work out, can't we?

some said what prove are about God , what prove about him is real... i ask u what prove u have his not real.. but we all see in the end if God is real or not. And dont make the mistake to bellive the God have many names for many religions but him is 1. no . u will lose, that if u belive in Him , and never make the deadly mistake to belive u are smart , u know beter or to folow people whta they say is beter like that, u will lose and u will pay, belive in something old and good not in something more new after some1 belive i smart and him know beter about the God. God is hidden because if u see him , and u will know his power u will not be a good man because u have a good soul, or do thing what God told u because u are a pure soul. U will do thing what him said to do because u know him and u know his power, from fear not because u are a good and pure soul
