   Depends. Theoretically, if it were done tastefully, it might not be too bad. But all the methods I've seen are just annoying.

   This optional "feature" is available on all free hosted wordpress.com blogs until January 2nd. There's also a plugin for self hosted wordpress.org installs and the javascript for different types of "snow" can be easily found on the net. I find it annoying and hokey so I don't use the option, but others do not feel the same way.

   I don't like it. For some reason, when I go to a site with this option enabled, my laptop internal temperature hits 85 C.

   I think the snow effect is neat, and fascinating.
   
   Are there snow designs which you can choose from? If there is, try getting the little snows only. So that'd it look neat.

   Not into it. But it's available for every major blogging platform (even Blogger). Wonder what people in Australia think of it?
