      We had some lightening going on around here, but the storm was somewhere else.

   Yea we're fine. It just happened so quick. It was pretty and sunny then I'm talking 5 minutes and everything went black as night. I put the girls in the crawl space and had to go get diva. I got her just as my window in the living room busted. That was the only damage we got thank god

   Scared to death. So was I. I was already outside filming the girls on their slip n slide. That's how I got some video. I paniked is what I did and forgot to turn it off. It was sitting on our front porch the whole time I was trying to get the girls in. And of coarse my dang dog was next door playing w/ her little poodle friend. So u hear me screming like a mad women trying to find diva. When I got into the crawl space we all were hysterical.

   That is one thing I luv about my hubby. He always stays so calm in situations like that. I soooooo needed him to slap me into reality. I panicked and probably tramatized my girls for life.....

    U know what else I just thought of? I wish I would have taken the camera in there w/us because it had to have been funny,looking back @ myself and the girls in the candle light. Me with both girls on my lap,jayleigh was holding diva,daisy (my bird) went down my shirt ,me trying to tell the girls its gonna be ok,but I'm a blubbering idiot. I just know I coulda won 10 g's on afv,haha

    yes,we're safe,and still don't have power. So I'm over at my cuz's house we are fixing to load up and go down to the lake. I'm gonna take this weekend off and thank my lucky stars we're still here.

    A friend of mine lives near Memphis and he just got his power back about 2 hours ago. He's a Vietnam vet and he said the rain was like a monsoon.
    
    Oddly, we had heavy rains and wind today here, on the opposite side of the globe!
