So, who wants to build in West Virginia?

We just go word on our house. We expect foundation to go in some time in the up coming week and we are hoping to begin the build next weekend. Woo-Hoo! In aprox 10 weeks we will have our home. We just picked out our flooring and all the other colors. When I find my software I will be showing it all off.

I have a friend whose trying to move to West Virginia. I dunno if it will happen, but he really likes it there. I can't wait to see the pictures!!!-

Lighthouse theme sounds appropo for where I live. The symbolism of lighthouses is - guiding lights.

I was so ready to start in Sept. I can't believe we were bumped up this soon! I just bought new towels, a shower curtain with light houses, A light house toilet brush thingie, trash can, life preserver, little steering wheel thing, and stuff to make a really awesome house cake for our dedication.

P.S. The lighthouse cake is a great idea -- guiding lights is a cool theme. -

TT and I think alike, we both said we wished we lived closer and could be part of the "house-raising" bee. I'd bring over all my tools...well, you know what I'm like. I'm like you. Happy if I get a drill or saw for my birthday. Heck, I'd take tools over make-up. LOL!! I am so happy for you. SO SO SOOOOOOOOOOOOO Haaaaappppppyyyyyyy!!!

They have a new construction manager. Me, being nosey had to do some research on her she did building in FL and everything I have seen about her has been great. She has excellent reviews. Really on the ball too.

What colours did you pick out? I am really chuffed for you...I remember when I got my own house, after ten years of being a renter, and it is an AMAZING feeling! You think you are excited now, just wait until they first hand you the keys!-
