    Humerous stuff

Ha..ha. Thank you. The third one is:

      Sorry for the broken link

Very interesting! Particularly to know why J.K. Rowling's name was used with just the initials. I always wondered why.

I really like your blog theme there too btw.
    1. MeghnaK
Yes, I agree with you. The J.K. initials was one of the points caught my attention too!

It's a nice series, Meghna. At some point you might want to do a post on your blog like you did here, so you have an easy-to-use list of them for your readers.

As Kinklade suggests, you should add a little information about your sources too. Yeah, that's the teacher in me speaking. Have you seen this guest post I did on the BC blog? blog.blogcatalog.com/guest-blogger/do-you-link-to-your-sources/

Also, Wikipedia is great for everyday life, including for basic background information for blogging, but since you're in school, I think I'll give you a few words of caution too, even though you're a pretty savvy internet user: homepage.mac.com/markstoneman/wikipedia%20in%20the%20history%20survey.html I hope you don't mind.

Thank you Mark for providing these wonderful information. As you rightly said, I agree with you that I've to provide links to the source of information. I'll surely start doing it in my posts. Yes, I use wikipedia abundantly; but use library more often for my research. So, I suppose I can give the source as magazine/book/newspaper name, isn't it?
    2. clioandme
Sure. The author, if you know, article, journal or newspaper, page and date. Or if you found it online, just link to it, either using an important word in your post, or adding your source at the end.

I thought the Edgar Alan Poe link was going to be about me!
    1. MeghnaK
No, but I can write a post about YOU amongst all these great people. What should it be titled ?
    2. kdawg68
well, how many other horses do you know that can type?
    3. clioandme
Hmmm. Kdawg might have a point there.

I tried sleeping facing North but it didn't help ;>)

What's Ollie North doing here? Meghna's in school in India learning real literature and other good stuff, not our crazy old political villains.
    2. MeghnaK
Robert, if your sleeping did not help, why don't you try my 4th one? Try to get into prison somehow and hope for the best!!
    3. robertstevenson
      Thank you, Meghnak.
I should say my "North" reply was an irrelevant attempt at humor. I'm on my way over to your blog now for a visit.

    That's some good work.

I love those little known facts as well. It's like watching the bonus features on a dvd and going behind the scenes

Did you know that Shakespeare was a real estate Mogul?
He has some pretty cool "little known facts" about his life.
    2. MeghnaK
No, I didn't know that, though I have some other bizarre facts about Shakespeare to write. Thank you. I'll really look into it.

I loved your blog, and I particularly like the works of Robert Louis Stevenson. I am also immenseley impressed with his grandfather the famous lighthouse builder. I am a lover of lighthouse photography.
    1. MeghnaK
Glad to know that you also like his works. Great writer, classic read!
Are you in any anyway related to Robert Louis Stevenson, Robert Stevenson?
  8. robertstevenson
It's funny we had a relative study our geneaology. His research found that we probably weren't related to Robert Louis Stevenson, but we probably were related to the Stevenson lighthouse builders. That makes little sense since they were related.

I intend to confirm the study once and for all soon. Maybe I'll start this summer. When I find out, you'll be the third person to know. First my two boys, then you.
    1. MeghnaK
Complete your study and let me know too
