Dammit - ninjas need love too Besides...I'm taking a break (from Goya) because I can't stand it anymore. Well, that and I'm hooked on BC LOL.

Anyway, I thought I'd share a photo of my aspiring artist's work. Punky saw me painting, and decided to have a crack at it too:

Oh you are so gross LOL.

Punky had a lot of fun. A lot of messy fun, that took at least ten minutes to remove the paint from everything, but fun none the less

And I got time to paint during the day

nice art, I am sensing retro meets chaos, ummm is she masked like her mama or do we get to see the kiddo. Kids artwork is great. I have three boxes already, i cant seem to get rid of any!

No, I don't put pictures of kids online. It creeps me out - too many pervs and all.

But yeah, punky paints like a mad child alright!

I've seen some of her best work. She's deep, that's for sure. If we do this blogcatalog party, you should bring some of your art to put on display.

At first folks might be shocked, but considering how articulate Anok is, my guess is it would all end up being very well received. Hell, we could even make her famous.

Edi: Doh - just got that it's your kid and not you. Dunce cap is being placed on head.

LMAO....yeh...my hands are small, but they aren't THAT small

I don't think I could bring my work with me. Those sculptures I showed you are 3/4 lifesize. And heavy! And my drawings range from small (18" x 24") to lifesize. My paintings are even bigger!

Wow, Long Confident Strokes. It's a work of Non-Toxic, Washable art.
    I hope it's washable anyway
    1. Anok
Absolutely washable....thank the Gods for washable paint and clothing

My kids did this a few times. I was amazed at all the places the paint got. Weeks later, I'm like, how did paint get into the ceiling vent?
    3. Anok
      LOL!

Kids art is the best! Then the purple bath afterward way cool!

Oh, we did paper mache before that little paint adventure too LOL. I took all that crinkled paper stuff from the Easter baskets, and let Punky have at it.

    What a mess!
  7. Hippychikky
yeah my office is my craft room as well. play dough paint flour way too much hot glue, the whole room is gonna have to be redone if we ever decide to move.
Art isnt fun though if you cant make a mess.
    1. Anok
I'm so OCD though, I can't make messes when I work. It's OK for the kids though.
    2. Hippychikky
that is hilarious you say that, I am ocd for sho, except in here. Yet my crafts are organized my material size project color everything else. You should see my closet. color, season, hell any organization method is put to the test in my house.
    3. Anok

If you look closely at the image you'll see a duck at the right hand side

    Surrealism at its most real.
    1. Anok
So if surrealism is real, is it still surreal?

Get your child to paint everyday and before long you will get a masterpiece. This time punky looks to have had a change of heart. New paper and fresh paint. May I suggest one color at a time? And use the hair dryer to dry to keep the colors from marrying one another.

Wait...does that newspaper in the upper right hand corner say "get freaks?"

Awesome. Where can I get some?
